How do I go about purchasing a painting?
Please contact me. We will discuss the availability and pricing of the painting you are interested in.
How do I go about commissioning a mural or miniature mural?
Please contact me. We will have an initial discussion of your needs. From there I will visit the prospective location of the mural. Here we can further talk about your needs and imagine ideas for the mural. Next, I would research the subject matter, sketch the design, and give you a proposal for the costs. When all is mutually agreed upon I can begin painting.
How do you price a mural?
When pricing a mural I take into consideration the level of detail I will be painting. For example, if a mural is small with intense realistic imagery, it will cost more than a larger mural filled with sky. I base my quote on the time I think it will take, and charge separately for supplies and expenses.
How do you price a miniature mural?
The miniature murals can range in price from $65.00 for a ladybug, to $200.00 for a hummingbird. Prices vary according to what image you choose. This pricing will cover my expenses and the actual painting for one image. If you would like a mix of images, for instance you would like an eggplant in your kitchen, a caterpillar in your bathroom, and a dragonfly in your son’s room, I would take into consideration the time for each image and quote you a fair price for your multiple miniature murals.
Do you ever paint on furniture?
Yes! I have done furniture pieces with trompe l’oeil images on it, as well as decorative painting. I have also been commissioned to do floor clothes and ceramic tiles.
Does a mural have to be painted directly on a wall?
Absolutely not. I have painted on canvas which can be adhered to the wall by an experienced wallpaper hanger. It can also be stretched like a painting. I’ve also painted on plywood, and had it attached directly to the wall. These methods give you the option of taking the mural with you if you should move.
